Dr. Jennifer Peltzer-Jones has been working in the field of Emergency Mental Health Care for more than 25 years - first as a Psychiatric Nurse and for the last 17 years, as an Emergency Department Psychologist. She is currently the Assistant Medical Director of Emergency Behavioral Services for Henry Ford Health System (HFHS), overseeing the psychiatric care and operations for the 9 HFHS EDs. Dr. Peltzer-Jones is also an elected representative for the American Psychological Association's legislative body, the Council of Representatives, sits on the Michigan Psychological Association Board, and works at the National, State, and Local Southeast Michigan level advocating for improved patient care. She has been an active member of AAEP and a return presenter at NUBE for several years.
